About the Norwegian Association for Legal Philosophy:

Norsk Forening for Rettsfilosofi er den norske avdelingen av IVR (Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie - the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy).

The Norwegian Association for Legal Philosophy is the Norwegian section of IVR, the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy (Internationale Vereinigung für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie).

The Norwegian Association for Legal Philosophy primarily organizes open seminars where we invite well-established as well as upcoming legal theorists to hold presentations in an informal but challenging inter-disciplinary environment. Since the beginning of the 1980s our traditional Summer and Christmas meetings have been attracting the interest of professional philosophers as well as students, legal scholars, other social scientists, and practising lawyers.
